Ajay Gupta is a multi-venture edupreneur, author, and entrepreneur, whose proactive initiatives have redefined how preschool, K–12, and university education is delivered in India. As the Founder and CEO of Bachpan Play School (1200+ branches nationwide) and Academic Heights Public School (AHPS) (120+ branches nationwide), he has built two of India’s largest and most successful franchise networks. His business-oriented mind and progressive efforts popularised the FOFO (Franchise Owned, Franchise Operated) model, enabling quality education from PG (Play Group) to PG (Post Graduation).

He co-founded Rishihood University, which is recognised as the country’s first social-impact university focusing on inclusivity and accessibility. Ajay Gupta is also among India’s first entrepreneurs to integrate tech learning tools such as Speak-O-Pen and Robotics into both the play school curriculum and the K–12 school curriculum. His foresight and funding for startups led to a joint venture with Prismart Productions in 2013.

As the Founder of the Hum Honge Kamyab (HHK) Foundation, he actively endeavours to bridge the gap between persons with disabilities and the broader community through awareness.
